Section 4
For my project, I will create the front page of the sports section for the USA Today paper. However, the main focus and article from the paper will be an analysis on why college football should have a playoff system. It currently relies on the BCS computer program to decide who the number 1 team in America is, but this is a horrible process. The side articles will include current topics of the sports world. I will be using ESPN, USA Today sports section, and Sportscenter to pull my articles from. This project contains an abundance of rhetoric, and will be tied in to the main article.

We talked about this a litte, and i think it is a great idea. if you do end up doing the front page only, make sure you give me a 2-3 page paper in addition (that maybe articulates some of your displeasure with the BCS), or maybe fills in any gaps left by the front page itself.
This one is a little tricky to say what your short paper should cover, so if you are at a loss about my expectations, email me over the break.
